A performative walk for anyone aged 10 years and upwards
Duration: 60 Minutes
Available languages: German and English

How does hopefulness come into being? Can we do something to make more hope - inside us or between people? Sometimes it is hard to know what to do try to change things. Does feeling unsure stop you acting?

We are a group of people who found hopefulness during shutdown by walking in our neighbourhoods. Those brief moments when we could move outside near our homes taught us something that we do not want to forget. We decided to keep walking to find out more about how walking together can generate energy and help us take action in difficult times.

This is not a performance you watch. The performance does not exist without you - your walking makes it happen - so please wear comfy shoes. We walk outside come rain or shine - bring a raincoat or suncream as needed!

Concept and artistic direction: Jo Parkes, choreographic assistance: Vivian Defazio and Kaveh Ghaemi, created with and performed by: Viviana Defazio, Ziv Frenkel, Kaveh Ghaemi, Toby Foerster, Marcelo Schmittner Daza, Hannah Pirot, Aymara von Borries, Maria Wollney. Audio: Marcelo Schmittner Daza. Costume: Nora Jentzsch.

A co-production with FELD Theater and Mobile Dance.
